Irish Security Certification is a subsidiary of Management Systems Certification Limited. We focus on the security certification required under PSA.

Founded in 2003, Management Systems Certification Limited (MSC Ltd) provides certification services for businesses in a variety of fields, including Quality Management (ISO 9001), Environmental Management (ISO 14001), Health & Safety Management (ISO 45001), Fire Alarm Commissioning, Electronic Security, Static Guarding & Door Supervision, Event Security, Private Investigators and Locksmiths.
We are accredited by the Irish National Accreditation Board (INAB) as a Management System Certification Body (ISO 17021) and as a Product Certification Body (ISO 17065).

  • Intruder Alarm Certification

    The required documents required by the Private Security Authority for the licensing of contractors in the Intruder Alarm installation sector are EN50131 – 1 & EN50131 – 7 along with PSA74:2019.

  • CCTV

    The Private Security Services Act 2004 and the Civil Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2011

  • Access Control

    PSA67:2021 is a standard that provides a specification for compliance with licensing by the Private Security Authority

  • Door Supervision & Security Guarding

    PSA31:2014 is the standard required by the PSA for new entrants into the door supervision and security guarding sector.

  • Event Security

    The Door Supervisor (Event Security) licence is required by all those who provide security services in the Entertainment Area of an event.
